JOB DISCRIPTION FOR OUTINGS LOG REPORTER
OUTINGS LOG EDITOR JOB DESCRIPTION
Edit Trip Reports into newsletter format and maintain trip statistics.
PROCEDURE
1. The Log Editor will send out Trip Report form packets to outing leaders. The packet should include the Report Form, a stamped return envelope and a current Activity Schedule.
2. Outing leaders will send their reports directly to the Log Editor.
3. The Log Editor will type trip reports for the newsletter according to specifications determined by the the Newsletter Editor.
4. The Newsletter Editor will inform the Log Editor of the deadline for newsletter trip reports.
5. E-mail the report to the Newsletter Editor.
6. Log Editor will also count and record the total number of participants in each trip category: A", "B", and "C" hikes, walks, backpacking trips, canoe trips, other. Format these statistics in chart form and E-mail to the Outings Chair.
